To request installation of wireless LAN coverage for an area that does not currently have it or to expand existing coverage, send email to request@tamu.edu. To determine cost, a site-survey will be done for each case. Many considerations are involved in determining the number of wireless access points needed to provide for the desired coverage. Building construction, area to be covered, shape of the building, and throughput capacity are just some of the variables that can make a significant difference in the number of access points necessary.
