The only protocol routed on the campus network is IP. Over the past year, the campus network has migrated from IPX and Appletalk to IP. This deadline for this migration was December 31, 2000. Effective November 1, 1998, Banyan Vines and Decnet are no longer supported.
The Network Group assigns network numbers and manages routers for these protocols. For more information send email to consult@net.tamu.edu.
Bridging across the campus network is not supported.
