The best way to stay informed of network related items is the tamu-net mailing list. This list is for notifying users of the Texas A&M University campus network of upcoming changes/events and to provide other useful information. It is provided and maintained by the CIS Network Group.
tamu-net is not a discussion list; it is used as an announcement list only. It should be a relatively low volume/high content list.
The announcements on this list will be of interest to all computer system and network administrators who are connected to the campus network.
This list is also gatewayed to the moderated USENET newsgroup "tamu.networks.announce". An archive of the messages is also available on the World Wide Web at http://www.net.tamu.edu/tamunet/announce/. However, if you want timely notification, we suggest you subscribe to the mailing list.
