Network Group

The Computing and Information Services (CIS) Network Group at Texas A&M University is responsible for the campus computer network backbone and LAN's in over 140 buildings.  This involves continuously maintaining and growing the campus network backbone while providing commodity network connections to the desktop.  Other responsibilities include maintaining a large, high-speed PPP dial-in bank, connectivity to the Internet, remote office services, and the DNS servers for the Texas A&M University.
